Pastry Chef de Partie in Paris

Duration: 6 months
Where: Paris 6th
Language level: french B1 level and English B2 level
Gratification: legal internship
Advantages: 50% of transportation fees (metro card), 1 staff meal during working hours, 2 non-consecutive days off and night shift possible

Who are we ?

Our group has experienced exponential growth for 10 years and has stores all over the world. Our Chef, an artist in taste, is a key figure in French pastry. His creations are recognisable to all by their textures, fragrances, and presentations. We also collaborate with several hotels that serve our creations in their restaurants and rooms. Every day, more and more fans come to discover pastries, macaroons, and chocolates from our permanent or seasonal collections.

Working with our staff means seeking to make the French pastry scene international!

Your duties

  • Receive and store products while respecting storage temperatures and rotations
  • Make the pastry preparations relevant to your station
  • With the support of the Pastry Chef, guide the other interns in carrying out their daily duties (integration, training, monitoring, etc.) while ensuring compliance with current hygiene standards and procedures
  • Participate in performing various tests to update the menu
  • Guarantee complete food safety by ensuring hygiene (HACCP procedure), cleanliness of the kitchen and its surroundings, as well as the facilities

  • CAP (Certificate of professional competence) or BTM (Technical trade certificate) or CM (Complementary mention) in process or other education in Pastry in specialized schools
This position as a Pastry Lead Line will open the doors to rigour of meticulousness and in an international group with French values.
